Welcome to Glassford Day Nursery
We are now open!
Glassford Day Nursery opened its doors on the 4th of December 2006.
We still have places available for all age groups. Come along and see our fabulous new nursery!
No appointment necessary as you are always welcome to drop by and have a look around.
Location
Glassford Day Nursery (GDN) is a new purpose built children's nursery providing high quality childcare for 40 children from birth to 5 years. The nursery is situated at 2–4 Station Road, in the village of Glassford, near Strathaven, Larkhall and Stonehouse. We are 6 miles from Hamilton and close to all major road links to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
A family venture
Our nursery is family owned and managed. Janet Gibb is a full time working director, there to help parents, welcome children, support our hard working staff team and produce our delicious meals in the well equipped catering kitchen.
Janet started the GDN venture after many years as a registered childminder, parent to three children and her lifelong interest in children and child development. She has qualifications in higher education, child care and food hygiene.
